The Semplice team wanted to build a one-page website that showcased the best portfolios that were submitted to Semplice in 2016. The challenge with this site was to get absolute positioning to work well within a responsive design.
This design initially seemed like a challenge to optimize for responsiveness, but I came up with the idea of creating an element that ran down the center of the length of the page to use as an anchor point. This way everything could be positioned according to the anchor element, which was always in the center of the page, regardless of screen size. I was able to use percentage positioning instead of pixels.
